Over the past weeks we’ve kept returning to one anchor – what Christ has already done. In “Romans Chapter 6” we saw Paul’s threefold path: know that we’ve been crucified and raised with Christ, reckon it as accomplished, and yield ourselves as tools of righteousness rather than sin.
That same truth deepened in “In Christ, With Christ, and Through Christ.” We are complete in Him, the head of all authority and power – buried with Him in baptism, raised through the power of God, our record of debt nailed to the cross. Authority over sin, sickness, and the enemy flows from that finished work, not from our own striving.
And it all comes back to the gospel we confessed in “The Five Solas” – Scripture alone, Christ alone, faith alone, grace alone, to the glory of God alone. As Daniel 12:3 reminded us in “Turn to Righteousness,” those who turn many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever. That’s the mission worth reviewing again and again.
