Do you spend more time thinking about the future or the past? Why?

I would probably spend more time thinking about the future. However there are things from the past I would love to recreate for my future. For example, someone may want to buy a childhood home because of the joy they experienced there.

Do we spend more time thinking the good life or do we worry about the future, or our past catching up with us?

Are you not much better than they? ²⁷ Who among you by taking thought can add a cubit^[a] to his stature?

²⁸ “Why take thought about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: They neither work, nor do they spin.²⁹ Yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these.³⁰ Therefore, if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is here and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?³¹ Therefore, take no thought, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ ³² (For the Gentiles seek after all these things.)
