Matthew 6:33 (MEV): 33 *But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be given to you.
You see, the gospel is not about acquisition, It’s about seeking God and his righteousness. We must be reconciled to God through Christ and him crucified.
Let’s look at the example of King Uzziah.
2 Chronicles 26:3–5 (MEV): 3 *Uzziah was sixteen years old when he began to reign, and he was king in Jerusalem for fifty-two years. The name of his mother was Jekoliah from Jerusalem. 4 And he did what was correct in the eyes of the Lord as everything his father Amaziah had done. 5 *And he sought after God in the days of Zechariah, the one who instructed him in the fear of the Lord. And in the days that he SAUGHT AFTER THE LORD, God caused him to succeed.
In this world, there are many kinds of success but true success comes by seeking the Lord.
I don’t know about you, but I want the kind of success that pleases God.
