What is your favorite holiday? Why is it your favorite?
My favorite holiday is the holiday that I get to be with my family. Not necessarily the particular holiday like Christmas or Thanksgiving.
People enjoy holidays for various reasons, including: Time with loved ones: Holidays offer opportunities to spend quality time with family and friends, creating cherished memories.
Many people appreciate the chance to take a break from work or routine responsibilities and unwind.
I think it’s important to cherish your relationships with friends and family during the holiday season, but most of all your relationship with God.
The scripture below is not about putting yourself back under the law by celebrating particular holidays, but my main point for posting this scripture is that God wants you to enjoy the holiday. He wants you to find joy in your friends, family, and even the stranger.
Deuteronomy 16:14–15 (MEV): 14 *and you shall rejoice in your feast, you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, the Levite, the foreigner, the orphan, and the widow who are within your gates. 15 You are to celebrate the festival for seven days to the Lord your God in the place where the Lord will choose, because the Lord your God will bless you in all your produce, and in all the works of your hands. Therefore, you will indeed rejoice.
