What gives you direction in life?
People look for direction in life through various sources such as personal values, goals, relationships, passions, beliefs, and experiences. It’s often a combination of these factors that that people rely on by thinking that it will move them toward their purpose or help them navigate their journey.
I find direction through my faith in Jesus Christ. Many people in the world are looking in the wrong places for direction.
Look at what Jesus said:
John 14:6 (MEV): 6 *Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Jesus wanted us to know that he is the primary source of direction and our mediator between our heavenly father.
Jesus also tells us that we live by God‘s word because God is the primary source of direction according to the previous scripture we just observed. We can’t just survive by physical sustainment, people need God.
Matthew 4:4 (MEV): 4 *But He answered, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’”
