My first children’s book.

Do you remember your favorite book from childhood?

My favorite children’s book was Babar the Elephant, an elephant character who first appeared in 1931 in the French children’s book.

My mother had to read it to me, because the first one I picked up was written in cursive.

Another favorite was Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss.

The book that I owned the longest as a child, was my very first children’s Bible. The Bible is the book that I cherish most.

God tells Joshua to study and meditate on the word of God continually. In Joshua 1:7, God tells Joshua to be strong and courageous, and to observe and do according to the law of Moses. God also tells Joshua not to turn from the law to the right or left, and that the book of the law should not depart from his mouth.
