Revelation 1:1
“1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:”
“Revelation” means revealing or making something known that was previously hidden or unknown. It can refer to a surprising or important discovery, like learning a new fact or truth.
“Revelation” often refers to God revealing divine truth to humans. For example, the last book of the Bible is called “Revelation,” where God reveals visions about the future to the Apostle John.
So, revelation is all about uncovering or revealing something that people didn’t know before!
