The Foundational Five Leadership Initiative.

Visitors and members are looking for these five ministries in your church. These five ministries must consistently remain on your leadership team at all times, at a minimum. Either paid or voluntarily, in accordance with church budget. Salary is not always an object for those who want to work for the Lord. The goal is to support the vision of a healthy church for everyone. A selfish church is a weak church. All administrators must actively work together to maintain the foundational five team. Pastors, elders, or deacons could actively fill any one of these roles. Finding those who will answer the call and those who feel lead to do it on a temporary schedule.

Mark 16:15

15 He said to them, “Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

  1. Worship Team
  2. Youth pastor
  3. Children’s pastor
  4. Nursery workers for infants, and toddlers
  5. Greeters, why greeters, because people walk into the church for first time and no one talks to them. First impression sets the tone. Greeters will also operate the visitor center for church informational services and church opportunities.

The age group of parents with young children typically ranges from late 20s to early 40s. Most parents of infants, toddlers, and preschoolers fall between 25 and 45 years old, though this can vary depending on cultural, social, and personal factors.

Visitors and members of your church between the ages of 25 and 45 will not consistently attend a church that cannot maintain the five ministries listed in the initiative.
