We’ve been lied to.
God sending people to hell for rejecting Jesus Christ has never been the premise.
We were on our way to hell already, and God sent the remedy, but we must receive the remedy. He came to save us. It was through one man Adam that sin entered the world and Jesus redeemed us from Adam’s fall.
As a result of Adam and Eve’s fall and their rebellion, humanity lost its original innocence and close fellowship with God, becoming subject to suffering, mortality, and a sinful nature inherited by all their descendants. The expulsion from the Garden symbolized humanity’s separation from God, but also set the stage for the promise of eventual redemption.
Therefore as sin came into the world through one man and death through sin, so death has spread to all men, because all have sinned. (Romans 5:12, MEV)
What happens when we don’t receive the remedy for this curse that humanity is under?
“Then He will say to those at the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire, PREPARED FOR THE DEVIL and his angels. (Matthew 25:41, MEV)
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. (John 3:17, MEV)
