Feminism and the Erosion of Parental Guidance

One of the greatest responsibilities God gives parents is to train their children in truth, wisdom, and godly values (Proverbs 22:6). Yet modern cultural movements often undermine this calling. Feminism, in particular, has shifted the focus of family life away from the home. While it claims to liberate women, it often pressures mothers to pursue careers, independence, and personal fulfillment above their God-given role of nurturing the next generation.

The result? The system—whether schools, media, or government programs—ends up raising our children. These institutions rarely instill biblical truth, but instead promote worldly philosophies. Without parental guidance, many children grow up disconnected from faith, family, and moral direction.

This is not to say that women cannot work or contribute to society, but rather that when cultural movements remove the heart of parental influence from the household, families suffer. True freedom and strength are found not in abandoning God’s design, but in embracing it. Fathers and mothers together, in unity, provide the foundation their children need.

If parents don’t raise their children, the world surely will.
