Bible-based faith is not complicated. It starts with trusting God, taking Him at His Word, and keeping your heart aligned with what He has already promised through the finished work of the Cross.
1. Trust in God (Mark 11:22)
Everything begins here. Jesus said, “Have faith in God.” Real faith isn’t in ourselves, our strength, or our abilities. It rests fully on who God is and what He has already done.
2. Agree With God—and With Others (Matthew 18:19)
There is power in agreement. When you line up your heart with what God has already spoken, anything can happen. Jesus said that if two people agree on earth concerning anything according to His will, it will be done. Agreement aligns you with the God for whom nothing is impossible.
3. Believe That You Receive (Mark 11:24)
Jesus taught us to believe we receive when we pray. That kind of believing depends entirely on the source—God Himself. When you trust the One you are receiving from, faith rises. Confidence grows. Your heart becomes settled.
4. Seek Him for the Answer (Matthew 7:7)
The Lord invites us to seek Him. He has the wisdom, the direction, and the answers we need. Seeking isn’t wandering—it’s looking to the One who freely gives.
5. Knock With Expectation (Matthew 7:7)
Knocking represents persistence. It is faith that keeps coming, keeps expecting, and refuses to quit. You knock because you know Someone is on the other side of the door.
6. Be Persistent (Luke 18:1–8)
Jesus taught us to pray and not lose heart. Persistence isn’t trying to force God to do something. It’s the steady confidence that He will do what He promised. Persistence keeps the heart anchored in faith.
The Fruit of a Trusting Heart
At the end of the day, your works and your actions are simply the fruit of your heart. When your heart trusts fully in God—and in the finished work of Christ on the Cross—your life naturally shows it. Faith is not striving. Faith is resting in what Jesus has already provided and allowing that confidence to shape everything you do.
Bible-based faith is simple: trust Him, agree with Him, believe Him, seek Him, and keep knocking. Everything else grows from a heart that depends entirely on God.
