Healing is not just something God can do — it is something He desires to do. He’s not withholding your healing. Throughout Scripture, we see God revealing Himself as Jehovah Rapha, “the Lord who heals” (Exodus 15:26). Healing flows from God’s nature, not merely from human need.
11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield;
the Lord will give favor and glory,
for no good thing will He withhold
from the one who walks uprightly.
12 O Lord of Hosts,
blessed is the man who trusts in You. (Psalm 84:11–12, MEV)
Jesus made God’s will unmistakably clear. Everywhere He went, He healed the sick, opened blind eyes, and restored broken bodies and lives. Scripture says, “Jesus went about doing good and healing ALL who were oppressed” (Acts 10:38). He never turned away someone seeking healing, and He never told anyone it wasn’t God’s will.
Healing is rooted in the finished work of Christ. Isaiah prophesied, “By His stripes we ARE healed” (Isaiah 53:5), and Peter later confirmed this truth in the New Testament; “WERE healed” (1 Peter 2:24). Healing is part of what Jesus accomplished at the cross — just as forgiveness of sins.
Faith does not deny symptoms; it trusts God above them. Healing may be immediate or progressive, but our confidence remains in God’s goodness and faithfulness. Even when answers seem delayed, we continue to believe, pray, and hope.
In a broken world, healing is a powerful reminder that God restores what sin and sickness try to destroy. God still heals today, and His grace is sufficient for every need — body, soul, and spirit.
Sickness, disease, and demons are to be treated like an enemy. Anything in this category had to be dealt with by the authority of Christ. Jesus never asked the father to remove them, He commanded them to go!
You could command sickness and disease to leave your body today and agree with God’s word. Receive that free gift of healing today.
