Jesus spoke about “ wars and rumors of wars”. This comes from Jesus’ words in Matthew 24:6–7
Real, ongoing conflicts between nations. Rumors of wars = talk of threats, reports, and fears of coming conflicts.
Jesus said these things would happen before the end, but He also added an important reminder:
“See that you are not troubled, for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” (Matthew 24:6)
Conflict in the world is not a surprise to God. Hearing about wars does not automatically mean the end is immediately here. Believers are called to stay calm, faithful, and focused on Christ, not driven by fear.
The heart of Jesus’ message
Jesus wasn’t trying to scare people — He was preparing them.
The real sign to watch isn’t chaos alone, but faithfulness, endurance, and the gospel being preached (Matthew 24:13–14).
