The Bible has a lot to say about how we speak. Speak life instead of death, blessing instead of cursing, and the giving of a good report to encourage others. But we must never confuse that with faith in Christ. We don’t have to activate blessings that we already have. We walk it out. We have those things because we place our trust in Christ and what he has done on the cross and His authority over the powers of darkness. His word is already living and active inside you. You could say words have power but only the power God gives. Only God provides power over circumstances. Faith in anything else is just another way to be deceived, only Jesus Christ saves, heals, and delivers, nothing else. God uses our words but it’s His person, character and purpose that supplies the power.
