A friend of mine called me the other day to visit a historical church in the area. Nestled in the heart of Copperas Cove, and constructed in 1895, Immanuel Lutheran Church stands as a steady witness to the enduring message of the Gospel. It was the first time in my entire life to visit a Lutheran Church. A church known for its commitment to biblical teaching and Christ-centered worship, the church serves as both a spiritual home and a place of encouragement for individuals and families in the community.
Rooted in the traditions of Lutheran theology, Immanuel Lutheran Church emphasizes salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Through weekly services, Bible studies, and outreach efforts, the congregation seeks to proclaim God’s Word clearly while fostering genuine relationships among its members.

Coincidentally we arrived there just days after the birthday of Copperas Cove, Texas. Celebrated in remembrance of March 25, 1879.
