The Wages of Sin is Death

Romans 5:12 (MEV): 12 Therefore as sin came into the world through one man and death through sin, so death has spread to all men, because all have sinned.

Romans 6:23 (MEV): 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Remedy

Romans 5:7–8 (MEV): 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 10:9–11 (MEV): 9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, 10 for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be ashamed.”

Romans 10:13 (MEV): 13 For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

If you would like to be saved, please pray like this:

“Heavenly Father, I know I am a sinner. I want to turn from my sins, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is your Son. I believe He died for my sins and that you raised Him to life. I trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him as my Lord from this day forward. In Jesus’ Name, amen.”

If you said that prayer, it’s time to find a good church. A church can come in all shapes and sizes, but it’s important for us to understand that the church is a body of believers. We are the church, it’s not a building. find a church that teaches God’s word with integrity.
