As ambassadors for Jesus Christ, we should all display rigid self-discipline when we need to. The intentions of our self-discipline would not be an effort to earn any merit with God, but an example to those who lack discipline and structure.

God‘s work just doesn’t happen on its own. We need strong disciplined leaders. Not all of us are called to be leaders, but we are all called to lead others to Christ.

Proverbs 25:28 – He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.
