The Word of God

With all the things going on in the world today, we have to believe that God‘s word still stands strong in a world Corrupted by darkness.

1 Peter 1:23 (MEV): 23 *for you have been born again, not from perishable seed, but imperishable, through the word of God which lives and abides forever.

God’s word is an imperishable seed.

Why is this important?

It’s important, because God is a stable counsel in a world full of darkness.

Psalm 33:11 (MEV): 11 *The counsel of the Lord stands forever,

the purposes of His heart to all generations.

The word of God does not return void, The word void means empty. God’s word will not return empty.

Isaiah 55:11 (MEV): 11 *so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;

it shall not return to Me void,

but it shall accomplish that which I please,

and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

God’s word prospers , wherever he pleases.

When you plant the seed of God‘s word It’s going to grow.

In the scripture that I’m about to share with you, you’ll see the 3 different types of ground where God’s word is planted. Three different types of people and what they will do with God’s word when it was given to them.

Each example made a choice with what they will do with God‘s word.

Matthew 13:18–23 (MEV): 18 “Therefore listen to the parable of the sower. 19 *When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is the one who received seed beside the path. 20 *But he who received the seed on rocky ground is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy, 21 *yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, eventually he falls away. 22 *He also who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, but the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. 23 *But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit. Some produce a hundred, sixty, or thirty times what was sown.”

The word of God is very powerful, but sometimes people refuse to receive it.

But if you know anything about farming, , keep sewing their seed, whether they’re going to reap harvest or not. That Farmer knows that you don’t get anywhere without being Consistent. That means you keep sewing the seed of Gods word and you don’t give up. The word of God is not void just because it’s sewn on bad ground. So don’t give up. He had the chance of reaping 30,60 or 100 fold. But you’ll never reap thirtyfold if you never plant. Keep on planting.

Hebrews 4:12 (MEV): 12 *For the word of God is alive, and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Jesus said:

“It is the Spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and are life.”  John 6:63 (MEV):

Jesus speaks life to us. His words are life.

When we speak the word of God to the world, we are speaking life to them.

Literally, We are speaking life when we were face-to-face with death in a world without God.

The word of God has the power to bring people out of darkness and  shine light on their situation.

Ephesians 5:8–13 (MEV): 8 *For you were formerly darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light— 9 *for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth— 10 *proving what is pleasing to the Lord. 11 *And do not have fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness; instead, expose them. 12 *For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. 13 *But all things are exposed when they are revealed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light.

This passage signifies a transition from a period of difficulty, confusion, or ignorance to one of clarity, understanding, or improvement. It suggests overcoming obstacles and emerging into a better situation.
