The Supposed Troublemaker

Acts 24:5

“We have found this man a troublemaker, instigating riots among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes.  (Acts 24:5, MEV)

When I read this, I think of Charlie Kirk.  Charles James Kirk was an American right-wing political activist, entrepreneur, and media personality.

I saw the reaction the world had in response to the things he said.

In the eyes of the world, they found the this man to be a trouble maker and an instigator like Paul the Apostle because the world doesn’t want to be interrupted in their sins.

They don’t like knowing that sin separates us from God.

They would rather not know God than be held accountable for what’s keeping them from God.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.  (John 3:17, MEV)
