FAITH is access to Grace, FAITH works by the grace that you have access to, not a constant barrage, good works that you feel like will move God that day!
5 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we also have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and so we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (Romans 5:1–2, MEV)
Mark 11:23 works not because you’re speaking to the mountain, it works because your faith is drawing from the power that is Christ and HIS word.
What Jesus did on the cross justified us and gave us access to his grace. The grace and power that comes from Christ.
A LIVING FAITH
We are encouraged to have a living faith, faith that’s not void of works. But when you become dependent upon those works for answers to prayer. You have failed to place your faith in Christ and the authority he has over the enemy, and his works of darkness. It is only by Christ and what he has already done that any of our works would be worth anything. Faith without works is dead, but works without FAITH is dead already . The emphasis should never be placed upon works as a way to get God to move. He withholds no good thing from his children and he doesn’t need you pushing him around to get answered prayer. Our faith is centered upon God and good works will follow. It’s by what he has already done for us. We are part takers in his nature because of what he has already done.
But do not turn aside, for then you would be going after empty things which cannot profit or deliver, for they are nothing. (1 Samuel 12:21, MEV)
