The believer’s life holds many promises in Christ, but Freedom from suffering, trials, and persecution is not one of them, thankfully we are not called to persevere on our own. Our heavenly father has provided us with everything we need to be steadfast in our faith.
A man named Daniel was sent by King Darius to the lions den, but God was with Daniel and shut the mouths of the lions until they returned for him.
So you see Daniel still had to go to the lions den, but God was with him in his trial.
Because of Daniel‘s perseverance he later held a high-ranking governmental position in both the Babylonian and Persian empires, serving as a chief administrator, provincial governor, and prophet. He was appointed “chief of the governors” (Dan 2:48)
