Ivan Voronaev, a Russian Baptist pastor living in New York who was baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1919 after his young daughter began attending an Assemblies of God mission.
Following a dynamic move of God, Voronaev felt prophetically called to return as an AG missionary to his homeland. In the 1920s, he spearheaded a massive revival across Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Russia, establishing over 1,000 churches and baptizing more than 35,000 converts in under a decade despite intense political and social upheaval.
